New LMPD Policy Allows Officers to Arrest Anyone Within 50 Miles of a Crime
The Louisville Metro Police Department announced a new policy yesterday that will allow its officers to arrest anyone within a 50-mile radius of a crime because odds are they were also doing committing that same crime.
Interim Chief Robert Schroeder announced the new policy saying it would bring in lots of new revenue for the department and the city. Oh, and also get hardened criminals off the streets and also the people who are waving signs in the air and vocally yelling their disapproval at police and the justice system.
“It’s a couple of bad apples doing this folks,” Schroeder said. “So unfortunately we have to lay down the law on everyone, it’s the only way.”
When asked by a Boondocks Gazette reporter if the new policy would apply to LMPD officers if one of them committed a crime or broke the law, Schroeder put on a gas mask and then released tear gas into the crowd.
